Makeup Revolution Mini Haul

Makeup Revolution

When I saw last week that Makeup Revolution had launched a Mini Brush Set, I knew an order had to be placed. As I can never make just one purchase, I also added two other items to my basket. A gorgeous blusher I've had my eye on for quite some time and a bright pink lipstick to die for..

Makeup Revolution Blushing Hearts

How pretty is this blusher?! I just adore the packaging, it comes in a heart shaped box just like the Too Faced Sweetheart Blushes, they're almost exactly the same however the shades look a little different in Makeup Revolution's offering and they are also much cheaper. The blush itself is gorgeous and very pigmented. It looks stunning on the cheeks, giving a really nice glow which is something I've always wanted to achieve but never found the right products to do so. This blush could also be used as a highlighter - got to love a multipurpose product! It's safe to say I'll be picking up another one of these at a later date.

Makeup Revolution Lip Hug
Makeup Revolution Lip Hug in Want to Leave? - £2.50

I already own one Makeup Revolution lipstick and the Ultra Velour lip creams which I love so I had high hopes for this lipstick and it definitely does not disappoint! A great bargain at only £2.50, this lipstick is quite a bright pink (for me, anyway!), I don't think I have any lipstick shades like it in my collection but it actually suits me really well! I'm definitely getting a bit braver in my lipstick choices! Ha! It is super comfortable to wear and lasts for a good while, you would really expect to pay more for this kind of lipstick!

Makeup Revolution Pro Go Mini Brush Set

Last but not least, the newly launched Pro Go Mini Brush Set. This set contains four mini brushes - A face brush, a mini foundation brush, a mini eyeshadow brush and a mini angled brush. These brushes are the perfect size for when you're going on holiday or simply just for when you're out and about and may need to touch up your make up. I haven't tried these out yet but I do have high hopes for them. They are also incredibly soft which I like.

Makeup Revolution really deliver for a budget brand, you'd expect a few hit and miss products but everything I've tried from them I've loved. I'm so glad that they're also now stocked in my local Superdrug even if it is a little dangerous for my bank account!!
