Single Eyeshadow Favourites

Single Eyeshadow Favourites
I adore eyeshadow palettes and in fact, I own far too many. My storage is literally overflowing with them. However, some days I'm just too lazy to even consider reaching for a palette and all the work that comes with the application - sweeping and blending with brushes etc. On those days, I prefer to reach for my handy single eyeshadows, just one sweep and a little blending with your finger and viola, you're done. Today I've rounded up a few of my favourites to share with you all.

Single Eyeshadow Favourites
I have completely fallen in love with cream eyeshadows recently and the H&M Cream Eyeshadow in Champers is probably my favourite. Cheap as chips but it really packs a punch! The formula you'd expect from a much more pricer shadow. It has a mousse like texture and can be built upon to intensify or worn naturally for a light flush of colour. It has fabulous lasting power too, I couldn't recommend it enough.

Another cream eyeshadow favourite comes from Maybelline. The Color Tattoo in Pink Gold is the most stunning shade, it's just ruddy beautiful. This is the perfect eyeshadow for any rose gold fan. It has intense colour payoff with a gel like consistency with impressive staying power. Maybelline claim it can last 24 hours but you know, nobody wears eyeshadow for 24 hours straight but it does last a good few hours even without a primer.

Onto powder eyeshadows and the Topshop Mono Eyeshadow in Galaxy is incredible. The warm chocolate brown shade is ideal for a sultry smokey eye. One swipe of this and you've already pretty much achieved an intense look so this is perfect for evening wear. I love it's super soft and buttery texture and on the lids it has a smooth, velvet like finish.

The cheapest of the bunch, the Essence 3D Eyeshadow in Irresistable Choco Cupcake features two shades, one very similar to Topshop Galaxy above and one light champagne shade, both with a fair amount of shimmer. Both gorgeous when worn together or alone, they blend like a dream, are highly pigmented and really long lasting with a primer. They have a silky smooth texture with a satin finish.

What are your favourite single eyeshadows to wear?
